International NQT Support Programme
Course Description
Our International NQT Support Programme is specially designed for UK trained teachers currently working in the Middle East.
This Programme will provide practical guidance to ensure that you receive a high quality package of monitoring, professional development, support and assessment throughout your NQT period to obtain your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) upon returning to the UK (this will be fast-tracked).
This is a very demanding course, however, high-quality professional and personal support will be provided by TFoIS link tutors and school mentors. Your NQT Profile will require you to be proactive in and reflect upon the development of your practice, to support your professional development and to set targets accordingly with the support of your mentor and link tutor.
With the Early Career Framework (ECF) becoming a 2-year programme from September 2021, international students will require to complete a 2-year induction process consisting of online modules covering all essesntial information related to ECF and Teachers’ Standards.
